Tips for ordering Prescriptions online or mail order:

Due to pharmacies closing, the best way to obtain your prescriptions may be online or mail order, please discuss with your physician as they may be able to assist you.

You can also look on the back of your prescription drug card. There is a phone number you can call and they can tell you which pharmacies are preferred or in network pharmacies for you. They can also provide you with what you need to use the mail order option.

If you choose to order your prescriptions online:

• Only order from a secure (https) and reputable site

• Look for the seal NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, it may be very small on the website and may be located at the end of the website)

• NABP has a safe pharmacy search tool https://safe.pharmacy/buy-safely/

Pharmacies that sell online are required to have a physical location where they prepare drugs. Make sure that location is in the US because they must follow all US standards and regulations.

Several online pharmacies accept Medicare Part D coverage in the US, including Amazon Pharmacy, Express Scripts, CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy, and PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy. These pharmacies offer convenient options for receiving prescriptions online and can sometimes offer automatic refills and home delivery.

Here's a more detailed look at some of the options:

• Amazon Pharmacy: Accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare Part D, and offers RxPass for Amazon Prime members with a monthly subscription for generic medications.

• Express Scripts: https://www.express-scripts.com/ Offers up to three-month supplies of drugs and automatic refills for Medicare enrollees.

• PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy: Is an in-network pharmacy for a majority of Medicare Part D plans.

• CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy: https://www.caremark.com/ Makes ordering medications by mail easy and convenient.
